SAP Logistics Consultant

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking to hire a SAP Senior Logistics Consultant (MM & PP) to join Fuji SMBE. Our company is onboarding SAP S/4 Hana as a greenfield project as we migrate from our legacy system.

Responsibilities

  • Own MM design decisions and configuration standards – Procurement (PR/PO, source list determination, release strategies), Inventory Management, Material Master, Batch Management, Split Valuation, Subcontracting and Invoice verification – working jointly with the Systems Integrator (SI).
  • Critically review SI design proposals for MM/PP/SD alignment with company’s procurement policies, MTO and MTS production model, and reporting requirements, escalating discrepancies as needed.
  • Support intercompany procurement and Stock Transport Order (STO) design across company codes, including subsequent roll-out to other entities.
  • Partner with FI/CO, SD, PP and QM consultants to ensure clean end to end process design and accounting relevant integration points (goods movement valuation, GR/IR, cost collector settlement.)
  • Review Blueprint/design documentation and functional specifications for RICEFW items and legacy system interfaces.
  • Conduct workshops with Business Process Owners (BPOs); translate procurement/production requirements into SAP configuration, SOPs, and BRDs.
  • Support testing cycles (UAT), cutover, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Support ongoing PR/PO governance, release strategy design, and vendor/contract management processes.
  • Opportunity to contribute to future WMS evaluation and AMR/MES integration planning post-Phase 1.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or related field. SAP MM/PP certification (S/4HANA) preferred.
  • At least 6+ years of functional experience in SAP MM, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations (Private or Public Cloud Edition preferred).
  • A genuinely positive, can-do attitude — someone who’s energized by solving problems, not just executing tickets.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to dig in during high-intensity periods like testing and cutover — we notice and appreciate people who go the extra mile.
  • Great communication skills — comfortable presenting to both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • A team player who brings positive vibes to the room and helps others succeed too.
  • Hands-on configuration experience across: Procurement (ME21N/ME51N/ME59N), Inventory Management (MIGO), Invoice Verification (MIRO/MIR7), Material Master (MM01), Batch Management, Split Valuation, and Subcontracting vs. Standard PO scenarios.
  • Experience integrating MM with FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM in a manufacturing (ideally MTO or discrete manufacturing) environment.
  • Working knowledge of PP fundamentals (BOM/CS01, Routing, MRP, Production Orders) — candidates with strong PP hands-on experience alongside MM will be given strong preference.
  • Experience with intercompany procurement, STOs, and multi-company code structures across countries.
  • Prior experience working alongside a Systems Integrator or implementation partner in a client-side/internal governance capacity.
  • Familiarity with release strategy design, condition record governance, and PR-to-PO lifecycle controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management — comfortable presenting to BPOs and operations leadership using company widely used terminology rather than purely technical terms.
  • Experience with embedded SAP EWM or third party WMS/AMR integration.
  • Exposure to metal fabrication, switchgear or discrete MTO manufacturing industries.
